National Service Dogs day - NSD is a non-profit registered charity specializing in the breeding , training and placing Labrador and Golden Retrievers with children who have autism, and special needs. Rail Jam /Handplant - This event is done in 2 parts, 1st part tests your rail riding skills and 2nd part is makng a hand plant on a slope, lots of fun and prises for everyone.
All events require parents signatures for participants under 19 yrs.

Big Air - For 2008 winners we have in the following categories:( Male Skier 16yrs+: 1st Derrick Stienbach,2nd George Coleman,3rd Jason Stern, 4thMike VanVugt),(Male skier 15& under:1st Taylor Lewis, 2nd Jacob Paul, 3rd Taylor Josephy).(Male Boarder 16yr+ ;1st J.T., 2nd Jesse VanVugt).(Male 15& under:1st Vince Keram, 2nd Sky VanVugt,3rd Kurtis Gurney) and in the female category under Boarder 1st goes to Amy VanVugt.

Meningitis fund raiser - Come out and support the 3rd annual Meningitis fund raiser, $1.00 from every lift pass goes toward raiseing funds and a draw for 1 free student seasons pass will be made along with 1 BCAA membership.This fund raiser is done in the memory of Matt Webster who loved snowboarding at Troll with friends and family.

The Dummy Downhill - Dummies that jumped the Big Air March 30th 2008 are as follows: Tweety Bird ( Jerritd Andderson), Crash Cart (Jim and Jerritd Anderson), Crash Bandicott (Signe and Van Nielsen),Troll Bobblehead (Signe and Caroline), Eagle Nut(Janet, Hazel and Eva), Troll Air(Steven Emily Jillian and Kyla), Basket Case( Lynn, and Hildur), Red Stairs( George), Eric the Ski Instructor( Scott, Alex and Lesly), Also all the way from Montreal, Carey Price(Roger Fjeld and Glen Ward). Dummy's must be hand constructed, they can't exceed 300lb's, no explosives are allowed and the max track width is 32" outside ski edge to outside ski edge, 20" inside to inside, with min 4" clearance.

Heart & Stroke Fundraiser - Lift passes will be sold at half price, and all proceeds of all ticket sales will go to the Heart and Stroke Foundation , in Memory of Lars Fossberg. For our last day March 30th,08, $1772.00 was collected.
