Lifts – 4 surface lifts (T-bars)

Troll has 1700 feet of vertical accessed by riding surface lifts otherwise known as T-bars. There is also one beginner’s hill serviced by a T-bar.

T-Bar Facts

They are easy to ride, especially the self-loading kind at Troll. You just have to ask the many people who’ve skied at Troll for 30 years!

They are very safe to ride, load and unload. Perfect for beginners, and once the technique is mastered, very comfortable to ride.

They offer the quickest way to make it to the top fo the mountain because of the quick loading and unloading system. T-Bars can travel at high speeds and go faster than a fixed grip chairlift. This means more skiing!

T-Bars keep people closer to the ground than a chairlift, thus warmer and out of the wind. There is no way to get stranded on a T-Bar.

T-Bars are economical and enable Troll Ski Resort to maintain our affordable lift rates.
